Olive Villages Community Based Organization was born from a shared vision of uplifting every household in North Mugirango.
What began in 2022 as a small circle of committed women leaders officially became a registered CBO in 2023—and has since blossomed into a dynamic network of “SmartMamas” driving real change across the constituency. Rooted in our belief that empowered women spark thriving communities, we unite around a clear mission: to bring Inspiration, Innovation, Skills, and Hope to every village.
Over the past two years, Olive Villages has built an inclusive platform for economic opportunity, social support, and local leadership. Through village savings groups, mentorship circles, and hands-on workshops—from financial literacy to nutrition education—we equip women and vulnerable households with sustainable skills and resources. Our partnerships with county agencies, development allies, and grassroots volunteers ensure that persons with disabilities and orphaned or vulnerable children receive the care and advocacy they deserve.
Supporting Olive Villages CBO’s “Smart Mamas” table-banking circles equip women across North Mugirango with essential financial literacy, pooled savings, and micro-loan access—sparking new businesses that uplift entire households.
Through peer mentorship and hands-on workshops, participants learn business planning, record-keeping, and value-chain strategies—turning small seed funds into sustainable income streams and greater economic confidence.
